Maui is more quiet and chill with great scenery. Oahu is probably where you will want to go. more clubs, late night shopping, maketplaces, tours and the like. Go to waikiki beach and your all set. great place to party and safe too. :)
My personal favorite is Kauai. It is called the garden island and I lived there for about a year. I visited all of the islands and my second favorite is Maui. But Kauai is the most beautiful of all the islands:
